Red Sox Drop Game One to the O’s

The Wild Card lead is down to a game and a half after the Red Sox lost the front end of a double header to the Orioles today at the Fens.  Weiland was hurt by the long ball twice in the fourth and once more in the fifth.  He left the game after 4 and 2/3 with the Sox trailing 6-2.

Boston battled back and scored two in the bottom of the fifth and another in the seventh but it was not enough to overcome the defecit.  Game two of the double header starts at 7:10

Carl Crawford sat out the game with a stiff neck.
