Here's where thing stand with injured Red Sox players at the start of spring training:
Mike Napoli's MRI on his hip showed no further damage. He can now participate in some more drills but is not cleared for full workouts.
Will Middlebrooks says he is 100% and feels no ill effects from the broken bone that ended his season early last year.
David Ortiz says he feels about 90% and has been testing his injured achilles. He is being held out of base running drills and full workouts.
Clay Buchholz is throwing some long toss today to test his arm before the team lets him do full workouts.
Felix Doubront has "mild shoulder weakness" and will be held out of throwing until Wednesday.
