The Red Sox have signed Cuban catcher Adalberto Ibarra:
Former Camagüey standout Adalberto Ibarra has reached a Major League deal with the Boston Red Sox. The contract is a 5 year deal worth $4.3 million that includes a signing bonus of $1.5 million. The Red Sox see Ibarra as a future catcher.
The big question is, can he throw baserunners out?
