You can forget about Jason Bay roaming left field at Fenway Park, that spot now belongs to Mike Cameron. The Red Sox have signed the free agent outfielder to a two year deal for $16 million. The deal will become official when Cameron passes a physical.
The way Theo has been wheeling and dealing today you have to consider all possibilities including shipping Ellsbury and Buchholz to San Diego for Gonzalez and having Cameron play center. That would open up the possibility to re-sign Jason Bay (if they want to spend like the Yankees) or the team could go with Hermida in left. Stay tuned.
