I have seen quite a few Celtkick collections over the years. But when I came across this week’s featured fan’s, I was blown away.
Jason, a 34 year old Paul Pierce fan from China who now resides in Toronto, has a stash of Paul Pierce kicks that you have to see to believe. Pierce’s kicks are extremely hard to come by. They were only manufactured in kids’ sizes when Nike used to sell them on the retail market. So the only way to get an adult size was to find one of Truth’s personal pairs. Not only is this tricky for obvious reasons, but it’s also expensive. A pair of Pierce’s signed & game-used Air Legacy are currently going for about $2000 online.
Jason’s collection spans Truth’s entire career with the Boston Celtics. It features one of my favorite Pierce shoes, the “My Gift My Curse” P2’s, an incredible pair of Air Legacy “Gingerbread Man” kicks that Truth wore on Xmas day in 2012 and many, many more.
