The second edition of our FanFriday segment features the lovely "Lucky Charms". These two beauties were actually given the nickname 'The Celtics Lucky Charms" by TD Garden favorite Aztec Gino.
I first noticed Kathy and Lisa at a game back in 2007. They always stand out at the Garden due to their sexy Celtics outfits (usually matching) and extreme enthusiasm. Don't let the good-looks fool you, these ladies know their hoops. Matter of fact, I would bet they know the Celtics and NBA basketball better than alot of men. I ended up interacting with the Lucky Charms through a Facebook photo of mine they appeared in the background of. We then met up at a game later the same week, and we've been friends ever since.
Kathy, or "Kat" as she prefers, and Lisa are staples at the TD Garden, and are often seen on the Jumbotron dancing and smiling as they cheer their boys on. I've had the pleasure of being at a good amount of games with both of them, and they really get into it. They cheer on the Celts, boo and make fun of the Lebrons and Kobes of the world and always do their best to keep the crowd into the game and the Garden rocking!
I sent Lisa and Kat a few questions, and they filmed a great video of themselves the other night. So if you are at the Garden this year, be sure and say hi to them, and make sure you congratulate Kat on the recent birth of her son Blaike! I really enjoy hanging-out with these ladies, and they are true Celtics "Superfans".
