I first met Dave (in-person) last season at TD Garden. We had interacted quite a bit on Twitter due to our mutual love for the C's. He was in the 617 for one of his many journeys from Delaware to see the Celtics play. Dave was one of 2 ticket winners that also won a trip out on the parquet floor to hang-out pregame of a C's tilt with the Golden State Warriors
David lives in Delaware, which has no professional sports teams. You have a mix of New York, Philly, Jersey and Boston fans. Dave's allegiance has always been with the Celtics. One of the other reasons Dave and I get along well is that he is also a sneakerhead. And let me tell you, Dave's collection of Air Jordans and other kicks is 2nd to none. Words truly do it no justice..
Dave was present at both the 2008 and 2010 NBA Finals here in Boston. Time and distance are no obstacle for him when it comes to travelling. He also hits the occasional Celtics road game.
