Hankerson suffered what appeared to be a dislocated hip in the fourth quarter of Washington’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Hankerson was enjoying his breakout game in his rookie season catching eight of the nine passes targeted to him for 108 yards. He was seen on crutches around Redskins Park this morning.

Hankerson replaced Santana Moss who suffered a broken hand in October. Moss is expected to return in NFL Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Shanahan announced that Rex Grossman would remain starting quarterback following the team’s loss to the Dolphins.
