Most Washington Redskins fans are tuning out the rest of the season. Speculating the Redskins’ 2012 NFL Draft moves is much more entertaining. But, Dan Graziano, ESPN’s NFC East blogger tweeted these words of hope this morning:

It’s true. If Redskins finish 4-0, Dallas finishes 0-4 and Giants lose to Jets on Christmas Eve, Redskins win East at 8-8.
Washington’s next four games are against New England, NY Giants, Minnesota and Philadelphia. There is a chance that the Redskins can go 2-2 in that stretch, provided they do not give up three fourth-quarter touchdowns in three minutes. I want the team to show fight, even if it screws up our chance to draft a premier quarterback prospect.
What’s distressing is that the Beast could be won by a team with a .500 record. What do you call that, the Least of the East? When did the East become the NFC West?
Take a deep breath and calm down. This scenario is as unlikely as having the only two players in the whole damned league dopey enough to be caught using recreational drugs.
