The problem with Wise’s gripe about “nobody checking facts or sourcing” is that he IS the source. He’s with the Washington Post – he’s trusted to deliver information. Wise has been with the Washington Post since 2004. Before that, he spent 10 years with The New York Times. His tweets aren’t viewed through the same perspective as, say, Justin Bieber’s – especially if he’s using the word “source”.
