The Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers have expressed interest in the young guard if they strike out on big time free agents but now the Boston Celtics are also in the mix.

When you look at the Celtics they are currently loaded at both guard positions with Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, Marcus Smart, and James Young, who were both selected on draft night. They also have Keith Bogans, Phil Pressey, Chris Johnson, and Chris Babb on the roster. So you would have to think that somebody is going to be dealt to acquire Stephenson if they want to do a sign and trade.
Now, the Celtics can only offer him the non-taxpayer mid-level exception which is four years and $22 million dollars. On the other hand, the Pacers offered him way more. We will see what will happen with Stephenson as we are still waiting to see what Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James will do.
