Report: Buffalo Bills doing their homework on DeSean Jackson

With wide receiver DeSean Jackson being released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, the wide out now has some suitors on the open market. It was reported last night that he will meet with the Washington Redskins on Monday and now you can throw the Buffalo Bills into the mix.

According Buffalo News beat reporter Tim Graham, he believes that Jackson could be a Buffalo Bill. The Bills are not fully set at wide receiver and currently have on their roster Stevie Johnson, Robert Woods, T.J. Graham, and Marquise Goodwin. All those wide receivers are good and all bring a certain skill set.

Out of those four wide receivers, Marquise Goodwin is the only speedster and he is listed as their number four wide receiver. If you can add a proven, Pro Bowl caliber star wide receiver in DeSean Jackson, Buffalo’s offense becomes that much more dangerous.

Adding Jackson, will give E.J. Manuel another target, it will also open up running lanes for C.J. Spiller and help the wide receivers get open. We saw it in Philadelphia, as a deep threat DeSean Jackson helped the likes of Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper get open.

It will be interesting to see where Jackson lands as he has been cleared of all gang related activities by the LAPD.
