With the Temple Owls returning a very young team this upcoming season, they took a hit to their roster before the season even starts. According to reports early Friday night, freshman Kyle Green would not be enrolling at Temple this fall. It is interesting to note that Green did not travel with the Owls this month when they went to Italy and France.
Green is from Camden Catholic in New Jersey and was the first member of Temple’s 2013 signing day class. He was also Camden Catholic’s all time leading scorer. Green also had offers from other schools such as Albany, Colgate, and Quinnipiac. All of these schools play in smaller conferences. With him not enrolling at Temple, it leaves Temple with only nine scholarship players and a walk on in Nick Pendergast.
