Report: Celtics “past the point of no return” on Rondo

Boston has reached the point of no return on a Rondo deal and Danny Ainge is moving fast toward sifting offers and making his best deal.

The reality is this: Rondo’s value no longer dictates an All-Star in return, and waiting until the trade deadline won’t improve packages.

So says Woj, but as has been mentioned before, Woj has been accused of having an anti-Ainge agenda, so he might be characterizing this as crossing the Rubicon when that’s not necessarily true. 

But it’s hard to imagine there not being any fire where there’s this much smoke.
