The 2016 NFL Draft is less than 24 hours away and with the second overall pick, all signs point to the Philadelphia Eagles taking North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz. With news of the Eagles trading up to take Wentz, it did not sit well with current starting quarterback Sam Bradford. Earlier this week, Bradford made it clear that he is not happy and wants to be traded.
On Tuesday, his agent Tom Condon reiterated Bradford’s sentiment telling ESPN that the Eagles did not tell Bradford that they had plans to draft a quarterback high in the first round.
“As they were making this plan, it would have been nice if they had told him about it. It’s his right to demand a trade and he wants to be traded,” said Condon.
If the Eagles do move Bradford, they may have a potential suitor in the Denver Broncos. According to Mike Klis of 9News, a NFL source tells him that the Broncos “are in” on Bradford. Klis also mentions that Broncos General manager John Elway has talked to Eagles General manager Howie Roseman.
The term “are in” is very vague as we do not know the stage of the trade talks that both the Broncos and Eagles have had regarding Bradford. But Klis’ story does coincide with what NJ.com’s Matt Lombardo said tonight via Twitter.
Lombardo tweeted that he has heard a lot of chatter in the last 24 hours about the Broncos and Eagles talking a deal for Bradford and it could involve multiple late round picks.

It will be interesting to see if the Broncos and Eagles can strike deal involving Bradford. Right now, the Broncos are looking to move up to get Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch. If Denver cannot get Lynch, then expect Bradford to be the fall back option.
