With the season now over for the Philadelphia Eagles, it is time to look at what went wrong and what positions they need upgrade during the offseason. One particular position that the Eagles will have to upgrade at is cornerback. This season, cornerbacks Cary Williams and Bradley Fletcher were horrible to say the least and it showed especially in the last four weeks of the season.
The Eagles will be getting an early jump on looking at corners as they are interested in one from the CFL. According to Adam Caplan of ESPN.com, the Eagles among 17 other teams have interest in Hamilton Tiger-Cats cornerback Delvin Breaux.
Among the teams interested in Breaux: Eagles, Patriots, Texans, Jaguars, Dolphins, Cards, Steelers, Lions, 49ers, Broncos…

Breaux is a 6-foot-1, 196 pound corner who has spent two seasons in the CFL. Within those two seasons, he has 62 tackles, two fumble recoveries and an interception. Breaux also has an amazing story as he broke his neck eight years ago in 2006 playing high school football. His doctor told him that he should have been dead based on the severity of his injury.
Breaux has overcome a lot to get to this point from playing in the Gridiron Development Football League to Arena Football. Now he has the chance to impress NFL teams and to hopefully make a roster. Caplan also notes that Breaux can sign with a NFL team after February 10.
