Former Philadelphia Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov is looking for a new hockey home and might have found one in the ECHL with the Las Vegas Wranglers. Many hockey reporters have reported this possible move including TSN’s Darren Dreger.
Working on confirming or debunking, but, word in Philly is Bryzgalov is about to sign an East Coast Hockey League contract in Las Vegas.

If Bryz went this route it would sure be a step down for the NHL and even the AHL but it is a way to get back in the NHL. Remember after a tumultuous couple of years, Bryzgalov was let go this summer as the Flyers used one of their compliance buyouts on the goalie.
If Ilya Bryzgalov is going to the ECHL, then I hope everything works out for him but he has a lot of things to work on especially mentally. No NHL team is joining to take a chance on a goalie with his problems. He will have his own redemption story to create but the only thing is will it finish in the NHL or will it be somewhere else.
