The Celtics have found their assistant coach. Josh Verlin of cityofbasketballlove.com reports that Jerome Allen will become associate head coach of the Celtics.
Per a source, former Penn coach Jerome Allen will become associate head coach of the Boston Celtics.

Jerome Allen has a history of coaching as he was the head coach of Penn Basketball from 2009-2015. Allen also had a playing career in the NBA as he was a point guard for the Timberwolves, Pacers, and Nuggets before going overseas to play in France and Italy. Allen is a relatively new coach to basketball but I think he will do just fine under Brad Stevens.
