According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the NCAA has reduced the suspension of Wisconsin freshman forward Nic Kerdiles to 11 games.
That numbers is down from the season-long suspension the NCAA originally issued. The 11 game span makes up just 30 percent of the Badgers season.
Andy Johnson of Bucky's 5th Quarter is reporting that Kerdiles is expected to stay at Wisconsin and that the two games he sat out against Northern Michigan will count toward the 11 games. Following that timeline, Kerdiles would be eligible to play on November 30 when the Badgers travel to Denver.
The University of Wisconsin has released a statement on the matter. The statement can be read in its entirety here.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
