With NBA Free Agency almost 24 hours away, teams and players are maneuvering for their chances to land a big name player that could help their team make the playoffs or be their final piece to make a NBA Finals appearance.
For the Los Angeles Lakers, after a down 2014-15 season that saw not only rookie Julius Randle go down to injury but also Kobe Bryant, they are looking to rebound in 2015-16. One of the ways to help them be at least a playoff team in 2015 is attracting a big man to play next to Julius Randle. With that being said, its look like Portland Trailblazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge is on their radar.
According to Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times, he heard that Aldridge was leaning towards signing with the Lakers.

Now, this will probably change as free agency hasn’t started yet and the Lakers are competing with other teams such as the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors and Dallas Mavericks for Aldridge’s services.
Last season, Aldridge averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and shot 46.6 percent from the field in 35.4 minutes per game. The big man will have many suitors as the Lakers hope he is a big piece to their puzzle in 2015.
