Report: Penn State has three picked up in undrafted free agency

Glenn Carson

<![CDATA[Three Penn State players were drafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, but the NFL dreams of a handful of Nittany Lions continues with the frenzy of undrafted free agency! It looks as though a few Penn State players are getting some phone calls and invites around the NFL.

One of the most trusted sources for undrafted free agent news I have come across the past couple of years is NEPatriotsDraft.com. Take my word for it that when it comes to undrafted free agent news, you do not have to be a fan of the New England Patriots to see the site as a helpful resource for this stuff. They cover undrafted free agents across the entire NFL. As of Sunday morning, three Penn State players look to have a shot at the NFL in addition to the three players drafted.

Per NEPatriots.com, safety Malcolm Willis appears to have at least a tryout offer with the San Diego Chargers. Linebacker Glenn Carson is heading to the Arizona Cardinals. Offensive tackle Garry Gilliam is the latest Penn State player to head to the Seattle Seahawks.

Wide receiver Allen Robinson was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round. Defensive tackle DaQuan Jones was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round. Offensive guard John Urschel was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round.]]>
