After the Denver Broncos season ended horribly to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Divisional Round 24-13, many fans and analysts wondered if that was Peyton Manning’s last game.
Well it looks like Manning will play in 2015 according to Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune on Monday. Per the Times-Picayune, Manning is back home in New Orleans and training with the intent to play next season.
The 38-year-old quarterback will be training with renowned fitness trainer Mackie Shiltone this week. Manning also wants to speak with Broncos brass before he makes any announcement regarding the 2015 season.
In 2014, Manning was on the roll as it looked like his Broncos could be on their way to Super Bowl 49. But with his arm strength weakening towards the end season and battling leg injuries, Manning did not look right at all. You could see in their playoff game against Indianapolis that his throws had no life on them.
Manning finished the season with 4,727 yards, 39 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. Not bad numbers except in the playoffs he has a 2-3 record with the Broncos. Could the 2015 season be Peyton Manning’s last season? It will be interesting to see as he has a lot to play for.
