We are inching ever so closer to the kick off of the San Antonio Spurs training camp which means the team will be filling in their camp roster or keeping an eye out for undiscovered talent.
According to Hoops Hype, the Spurs will workout former Dallas Mavericks forward Rayshawn Terry.
Terry is 6-8, 232 lbs. and recently played in Ukraine for BC Khimik of the Ukrainian Men's Basketball SuperLeague. He was drafted in 2007 by the Magic but was traded to the Mavs on draft night and has been a journeyman overseason playing with several international squads.
There is a pattern in the recent reports of players coming in for a workout with San Antonio. Most have been forwards which should signal the direction and type of players the Spurs are looking for.
Though it is good to see San Antonio looking for size, it is still not quite the size the Spurs need to contend with the bigger teams in the NBA such as the Lakers and Thunder.
With Terry, the Spurs now have Brian Butch, Warren Carter, Tyler Wilkerson, and Derrick Brown.
What do you have to say Spurs fans? Think Terry is a keeper for the team?
