On what has quickly become a horrible, no good, very bad day for Wisconsin Badger fans things got a little worse tonight as Jake Zimmerman of WKOW is reporting that Joel Stave will miss the remainder of the season with a broken collarbone. Stave was sacked by the Spartans William Gholston on the first play of the 3rd quarter and landed directly on his shoulder.
According to the report there was a chance for Stave to return to the team in time for the bowl game, but they will hold him out to stay healthy for the spring.
Wisconsin has yet to confirm the injury or Stave's status for the season, but it will likely be released tomorrow.
All of this adds to the Badgers disappointing 16-13 loss to Michigan State and the news of Josh Gasser's ACL tear breaking during the football game.
It's got fans and pundits alike asking what's next for Wisconsin?
