From a personal perspective, I feel bad for Wilcox. But his health and well being are clearly most important.
Also, I'm not sure what the sudden spike in cardiac issues means in the NBA. I'm going to guess that just means the testing has gotten more sophisticated and guys are being subjected to better testing to catch issues.
And finally from a basketball perspective, this is going to put some pressure on Danny to go get a big. I still don't know if Kaman is possible. I keep hearing Leon Powe's name throw around in comments… and at this point, I'd be happy to have him back. Maybe Danny will swing a trade or buy Wilcox out to open up a spot.
