RESULTS: Xtreme Fight Club 34 features insane amount of finishes

MESQUITE, TX – Steve Armstrong’s Xtreme Fight Club’s 34th incarnation featured a night of fights that left the large crowd of fight fans going home happy.  The 12 bout amateur MMA card was highlighted by a plethora of fight finishes that made for not only an exciting night, but a quick night of work at the Mesquite Convention Center.

In the night’s main event Evers Anderson used his wrestling to control smother the attacks of Frank Amezcua in route to a unanimous decision.  Scores were 30-27 on all cards.

Samantha Vega looked impressive in scoring a first round rear naked choke submission over Wendy Simmons.  The time of the submission was 2:56 in the opening round.

Hard-hitting Joe Gorman scored a first round rear naked choke submission over Chris Lopez.  The official time of the submission was 2:48 in round one.

Victor Altamirano gutted out a hard-fought split decision victor over Jon Camaro.  Score were 29-28, 29-28, and 28-29.

Josh Nealy defeated Roberto Salas via first round TKO.  The time of the stoppage was 1:53 in the opening round.

Eris Alvarado banged out a second round knockout over Elliot Wallace.  The official time of the knockout was 1:41.

Rogelio Contreras overcame a rough outing against Jessie Vasquez to land a third round arm bar submission.  The official time of the submission was 1:43 in round three.

Frank Waid gutted out a split decision victory over Brandon Bennett.  The scores were not announced.

Joel Herrera put John Pham to sleep with a first round guillotine.  The official time of the submission was 2:43 in the opening round.

Ameer Wahden utilized some very unorthodox striking to set up a third round arm bar submission over Tue Salianekham.  The official time of the submission was 1:07 in the third round.

Wes Lynch made extreme short work of Bob Mozisek securing a first round knockout victory via liver shot.  The official time of the knockout was 0:52 in round one.

Chanz Gipson defeated Erick Rios via second round TKO.  The official time of the stoppage was 2:29.
