Returner gets chance

Someone needs to take the job

“It’s an awesome opportunity. It’s a chance for me to really make a name for myself in the NFL,” said Kenny Moore, who might handle kicks and even punts Sunday, when undefeated Kansas City brings its highly ranked coverage teams to Lucas Oil Stadium. “This is what I’ve been working my whole life for.”

Moore was a fifth-round draft choice of the Detroit Lions in 2008. He spent most of that season on the Carolina practice squad, then shared return duties with several Panthers in 2009. Moore returned 10 kickoffs for a 21.9-yard average and two punts for 4 yards.
