Review of DirecTV Supercast

I was hoping to write this review last week, but as we all know, DirecTV had server problems and even though I logged into the site late, I still couldn’t access all of the features of Supercast. Now that I’m able to log in, I can write about what’s in store for the hardcore NFL fan.

This is great.

This is how your screen looks:

Review of DirecTV Supercast
You have the real-time scores to your left, the game playing in the middle of your screen, and the option to have the game play or show highlights on the right. On the bottom, you can watch the stats update as the game progresses. And the scoreboard constantly updates so when a team reaches the red zone, a red arrow will appear underneath the score. Of course, there’s an option for DirecTV’s Red Zone Channel.

And if you go out, being able to see the highlights which are updated constantly is an absolute gem. Having DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket, Supercast and Sirius NFL Radio to listen to the games complete your NFL experience.

For me, I have the Red Zone Channel on TV and Supercast on my computer to switch around when Red Zone mentions a team is close to scoring. It’s worth the extra cost, so as long as DirecTV has enough servers for everyone to log in, it’s a great way to keep track of all the games.
