David Wright was recently hit in the head and suffered a pretty awful concussion. Before being hit in the head, he was on record as saying that he would support safer helmets for Major League hitters. Yesterday, he donned this atrocious Marvin-esque protective head gear.
I mean that thing would make Placido Polanco’s dome-piece and a Fat Head look small.
Even Rick Moranis thinks it looks a little ridiculous. “I bet she gives good helmet.”
