Robby Fabbri was forced out of his second career game after appearing to take an elbow to the head against the Minnesota Wild. Fabbri exited early, leaving after skating about three and a half minutes. The injury was labeled with the generic “upper-body” description.
Details are extremely limited. Fabbri will be reevaluated prior to the team’s third game of the year in Calgary. If the elbow to the head was the actual cause of the injury, a concussion seems like a possible culprit, but it’s unfair to speculate without any additional information.
Should Fabbri be forced to miss time, the Blues can call on either Scott Gomez or Scottie Upshall to slide in.
