Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III's first press conference of training camp was well attended and well documented in tweets by Washington's sports media.
Griffin said he drilled with the team today, he expects to do everything with the team except 11 on 11 drills. He does not expect to play preseason games unless it were a necessity. I can't imagine any necessity that requires him to play a preseason game. He also does not need preseason games to prepare for the season. (Don't take that the wrong way.)
Griffin and Head Coach Mike Shanahan are on the same page. "We all made mistakes…." I've moved on from this issue unless it reoccurs.
