No great secrets were divulged in the 15-minute phone conversation I
had with Fred Hoiberg this morning, nor did I expect him to spill the
beans about what will happen on Thursday. But he was kind enough to
give me the time during his busy schedule and what follows is as close
to verbatim as my flying typing fingers would allow. If I were to
handicap what he said, I’d say if it is a tossup between Mayo and Love
if the team stays pat, and that a trade of the #3 down to anywhere
between #12-13 isn’t out of the question…
