Rockets thump Kings convincingly to secure a playoff spot

Not much to say about this 116-81 blowout. The Kings’ front office did everything possible to not make this final game competitive by adding Rudy Gay to their rest list.

Honestly, tonight’s roster was an above average D-League team and the Houston Rockets did what they were supposed to do, which was securing their playoff spot in convincing fashion.

With that said, Grant Napear said on the telecast, the NBA has plenty of ways to humble you and he directed that quote at Seth Curry. Not in a bad way but just saying two nights ago Curry had a career night and tonight was the complete opposite.

Curry finished with 10 points on 3-of-18 from the field but to be fair, he didn’t have much help from his teammates. Not many point guards going up against the best on-ball defender in Patrick Beverley and with minimal help could’ve had a successful night.

The season has officially ended and if the earlier reports indicating that George Karl’s time is coming to an end tomorrow, the coaching search will fully be in effect. And to be fair it has been for a while on unofficial terms.
