Surprise! Roger Goodell is at Gillette Stadium for opening night, preseason opening night that is. Goodell has recently been in the area for other teams camps and has made an unannounced visit to Gillette Stadium to watch the Patriots take on the Jaguares.

This marks the first time Roger Goodell has been at Gillette Stadium since the 2015 AFC Championship game. The Kraft family has been vocal with their differences with Goodell over the past couple of years but it seems they have all put that aside as they are in the same luxury box to the displeasure of most Patriot fans.
Boston Globe Reporter Ben Volin also reported that Goodell still plans to attend the Kickoff Game vs. Chiefs and will be in town several days ahead of time for community events.
