Last Saturday, North Texas Fisticuffs stopped by new MMA gym Phalanx MMA Academy to check out their grand opening. By all accounts the gym is impressive and already seems to be gaining momentum as a MMA destination in southwest Fort Worth. We spoke with the three trainers who comprise the heart and soul of Phalanx MMA, Alex Madrid, Bret Adams, and Durwyn Lamb to get their thoughts on the daunting task of opening and running a gym.
