Despite its modest size and humble interior Garland’s Texas Select Boxing Club is a force to be reckoned with in North Texas amateur circles. Headed by Jahaziel and Christine Lopez, Texas Select Boxing Club continues to define the odds while fostering a family atmosphere and team mentality to their gym. There is just something special in watching the boxers work toward making each other better all the while teasing each other as brothers and sisters would do.
