Rondo 4 weeks away from playing ball; JO will return

Danny Ainge and Doc Rivers made themselves available to the media today in Waltham. According to reports on Twitter, Rajon Rondo was there running on a treadmill.

Here is a variety of comments, courtesy Scott Souza:

Danny Ainge: Rajon Rondo not 100 percent yet. About four weeks from playing basketball. In Waltham doing conditioning.

Danny Ainge: Jermaine O'Neal has every intention of coming back next year.

Danny Ainge: we have to address size in the offseason. It doesn't necessarily have to be in the draft.

Danny Ainge: we don't want to move next year's pick in this year's draft. Our picks not enough to get to top. Next year is deeper draft.

Doc Rivers: had dinner with Big 3 recently. Talked about how important the regular season is and how we gave away some games.

I have mixed feelings about Jermaine. I was hoping he'd retire, but considering he's the only center on the Celtics roster, I guess we need him. His defense was good in the playoffs, but I'm fairly confident he'll miss at least 25 games next season.

I wonder if Danny will address the Josh Smith rumors.
