Rajon Rondo had some fun with the media yesterday by declaring himself 79% ready to go for tomorrow night’s opener. Today, he got an accomplice to keep up the arbitrary percentages for him… Brad Stevens.
Brad Stevens asked Rajon Rondo what he wanted to tell the media about his health status. Upgraded himself to 83% probable for Wednesday.

Rondo practiced today and there are no apparent setbacks, but he’ll get another scan done on his left hand just to be sure. Maybe then he’ll go from 83 to something 90% or above. Regardless of the number, Stevens has a simple message for Rondo, or anyone else coming back from injury:
#Celtics Brad Stevens’ message on Rajon Rondo seems to be: Only play if you’re ready. But once you’re ready to play, hand becomes non-issue.

Rondo said he plans to make his decision around 5 pm tomorrow. “After I wake up from my nap.”

There you go.
I’m pretty sure we can skip all this 83% crap. This is 100% in my eyes.
