Rookie LBs look good

The Colts young LBs have done well thus far

“If you’re a rookie in this league, especially a linebacker, you’re going to play special teams,” Conner said. “I’m definitely getting into my special teams playbook and trying to get in the swing of things.”

Special teams are where Brackett, Session and Wheeler began. Brackett became the nickel linebacker his second season, the same point at which Session and Wheeler became starters.

“They’re getting a lot of snaps, so that obviously helps,” Brackett said of Angerer and Conner. “You see things a lot different when they’re installed on the blackboard than (when) you’re out there living it.”
