To some, Kevin Garnett is certifiably insane. While it’s true that he can whip himself into a psychotic frenzy on game day, KG is more of a guy who lives by a certain code than he is crazy person acting on impulse.
Here is one story that goes along that blurry line. Garnett will gladly and openly mentor rookies… imparting knowledge on those willing to soak up his wisdom and even buying them tailored suits upon arrival so they can look professional. But if they fall out of line and somehow forget their place in the pecking order, there will be repercussions.
Just ask Mason Plumlee.
KG once took Mason Plumlee’s crab cake and gave it to Reggie Evans, because veterans eat before rookies, of course. pic.twitter.com/shcedgdLQc

Another hilarious example of KG’s borderline-insane brilliance. The code is the code. Know your place, rookie, and earn that respect!
God I love that man.
