What a weekend of golf it was. lead changes left and right and the tournament came down to the final hole. Rory Mcllroy came out of nowhere and stole this championship but it was absolutely deserved.

Mcllroy birdied six of his first 12 holes on his way to finish the tournament with a -15. Mcllroy beat both Paul Casey and Adam Scott who tied for second.

This was Mcllroy’s 12th career PGA TOUR win and it only took 115 starts to accomplish hitting the big 12 mark.

Hats off to Mcllroy as after round one he was down and not even sure if he was going to make the cut. But he never gave up and climbed his way back up the leaderboard. With this tournament in the books, It was another great year at TPC Boston.
