The Red Sox announced a roster move today. LHP Franklin Morales was placed on the 15 Day DL with a left forearm strain. RHP Michael Bowden was recalled from Pawtucket to take his place on the roster.
Bowden is in Detroit and available out of the bullpen for Game 1. Michael Bowden has always been one of my favorite of the minor league players. Last time he was brought up, he was sent back down before he ever got to throw a single pitch. Hopefully this time he sees the mound during his time with the Red Sox.
