Roy gets max extension

I'll say up front, I'm a big fan of Brandon Roy.  He's a special player… he's clutch… and now, he's insanely rich.

The Blazers have reached a 5-year maximum deal with Roy.  That means he'll now make $14 million, 2 and a half times what he made last year, and he'll get 10.5% raises each year after this one. 

I wonder if I ask Chuck nicely, if I can also get a 250% raise.  I'm sure it will mean he has to give up those special massages he gets at that unmarked place in Watertown Square… but I'm willing to negotiate.
