ESPN’s Marc Stein posted this today:
Hearing Celts discussing 10-day deal with Roddy Beaubois. Mavs dreamed he’d become Pocket Rajon Rondo; now maybe he’ll understudy Real Rondo

Briefly touched on in today’s dump, signing Beaubois would likely cut into the already decreasing playing time for Phil Pressey. If he’s added to the roster, the Celtics may even consider sending Pressey to the D-League to get more consistent in-game experience. Roddy provided a ton of speed while playing for the Mavericks before battling through a couple of foot injuries. Hopefully whatever issues he had physically are in the rear view, because he’s already proved to be a great addition to an NBA team. When healthy, his stats have remained pretty consistent, and he’s still only 26 years old.
Your move, Danny.
