It’s been good in three of four games. Even in the Miami game, it was good against the base set. It seems like the Wildcat really was the problem. Julius Jones had a pretty YPC before today’s game.
The statement was delivered, loud and clear, for a second straight week. The defense allowed the Seahawks just 49 yards on 19 carries. That came on the heels of limiting Arizona to 24 yards on 12 carries.
The two-game yield (73 yards) is the third-lowest in franchise history, the lowest in consecutive games in more than five decades.
“Whoa,” Session said, smiling broadly. “Pretty good.”
Awfully good. Julius Jones led the Seahawks with 25 yards on 11 carries. Three of his rushes went for 1 yard, one for no gain and another for minus-4 yards when he was chased down in the backfield by backup defensive tackle Eric Foster.
