It has been announced today that the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Temple Owls will begin a four game series beginning in 2020. It will begin with Rutgers hosting Temple in 2020 and 2022 and then Temple will host Rutgers in 2021 and 2023.
Right now these two teams are conference foes as for this season only; they play an AAC conference game on November 2nd at Rutgers. So far the schools have played each other 35 times and Rutgers leads the series 25-10. The latest victory came last season at Lincoln Financial Field where Rutgers destroyed Temple 35-10.
Temple will be looking at November 2nd to give Rutgers a going away party as they are going to the Big Ten Conference starting next season.
