If Ryan Braun is supposed to be a jerk, you’re going to have a hard time convincing Jesse and Janice Anderson.
The newly married couple was taking pictures outside their wedding reception at a hotel in downtown Milwaukee Saturday when the Brewers slugger crossed their paths.
“All of the sudden I saw that it was him walking towards us, and I could barely contain myself,” new bride Janice told WTMJ in Milwaukee. “I kept saying that’s Ryan Braun, get him to take a wedding picture with us! Then, as he got closer, I leaned over to him and was like, could we give you some smooches? He said his wife probably wouldn’t like that. But we all said, it’s okay, it’s for a bride on her wedding day.”
The 2011 National League MVP, who was in town for the Brewers annual fan fest, obliged and the rest, well…the rest is a great, great story.
“The ink on the marriage certificate wasn’t even dry yet,” Jesse jokes. “My wife of five hours is making kissy faces at a professional baseball player.”
Awesome.
