The Sacramento Kings officially announced their preseason schedule this morning and it has a distinct international feel. The team opens their seven-game preseason schedule on the road at the Rogers Center in Vancouver, British Columbia against the Toronto Raptors on Oct. 5 and then the real travel begins.
From Vancouver, the Kings will make a brief return home for another match-up with the Raptors on Oct. 7. After that, they’ll fly to China for a two-game stint against the Brooklyn Nets. Sacramento and Brooklyn will first play at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai on Oct. 11 and then match-up again on Oct. 15 at the MasterCard Center in Beijing.
The Kings will return home for a friendly contest on Oct. 18 in Sacramento against Maccabi Haifa, a professional club from Israel, before traveling to San Antonio to face the world champion Spurs on Oct. 20.
