Since last season, the good folks over at KSL Radio in Salt Lake City, UT have welcomed Cowbell Kingdom onto their airwaves to keep the beehive state abreast on all things Jimmer Fredette. This Saturday, James Ham joined hosts Randolph Fairbairn and Cleon Wall for a Jimmer update. So in case you missed it, here’s James’ appearance on Cougar Sports Saturday.

James sets the record straight for Jimmer Fredette fans who think Sacramento Kings head coach Keith Smart dislikes the second-year guard.

Keith Smart is a very nice man and he wants nothing but the best for Jimmer. But he’s also got to look out for the other 12 or 13 guys on the team and he wants to put Jimmer in situations where he can succeed. And today, I think he’s done a good job of putting Jimmer in some good situations where he’s really done some really nice things. But you’ve got to do it in little spots or Jimmer’s defense is going to come back to haunt you.
