In need of depth, the Sacramento Kings added Reno Bighorns forward Quincy Miller by way of a 10-day contract this morning.  The 6-foot-10, 220-pound Miller was the No. 1 ranked D-League prospect, averaging a league-best 26.3 points per game on 52.2 percent shooting in Reno’s fast-paced offense.

Taken with the 38th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets, Miller has played a total of 59 games in his NBA career.  Last season with the Nuggets, the combo-forward averaged 4.9 points in 15.2 minutes per game.

Miller has been turning heads all season in Reno, but last night’s 35-point, nine-block, eight-rebound performance in just 27 minutes against the Westchester Knicks may have given him the push he needed.

The Kings roster now sits at 15 after the addition of Miller, who is expected to be in uniform tonight when he Kings take on the Los Angeles Clippers at Sleep Train Arena.
